Senior Geo-Environmental Consultant
WHY?
This is an opportunity like no other. We are seeking a Senior Geo-Environmental consultant/engineer to join our high-functioning and growing team.
We already have enough technical firepower to rival any top flight plc Consulting team anywhere in the Country (probably the world), so there is plenty of scope for you to learn, apply and diversify your skills. Core business will include the application of a broad suite of technical earth-science disciplines; however, our underlying focus is all about making an impact on some of the biggest challenges of our time.

Requirements:
- Car and Valid UK Driver’s license.
- BSc qualified (or higher) in Geology, Environmental Geoscience, Environmental Science or similar, or equivalent experience in practice.
- 5+ years industry experience of geoenvironmental/geotechnical projects.
WHERE?
This is not a conventional business, and it follows that this is not a conventional job opportunity. There will be no neat little box for you to sit in (either physically or metaphorically). This role will be home/remote working in the UK with significant components of fieldwork. Ideal geographies would be South Wales and the South-West or South-East/ Thames Valley. We are willing to consider applications from further afield so don't let your geography limit your horizons.
WHAT?
- Our practitioners are exposed to a wide range of technical disciplines or clients throughout the UK on a project-by -project basis and we are seeking a candidate who has strong track record in at least some of the following:
- Field based work undertaken across the UK, including site management of ground investigations and associated works, with a strong focus on health and safety management and documentation.
- Manage project teams and provide support to junior members of the team
- Produce technically robust reports
- Provide technical leadership
- Planning, directing and supervising works on a range of geo-environmental projects including contaminated land, contamination, geology & geotechnics and validation of remediation
- Flood risk assessment and outline drainage strategies
- Hydrogeology
- Managing the delivery of Environmental Statement chapters and working as part of a multi-disciplinary EIA team.
