Alex loves to make things better.  Be it professional or personal, he is a positive and creative thinker with an infectious enthusiasm for life.  Professionally, Alex has built his career on identifying problems and providing innovative solutions.  During his seventeen years in the environmental consultancy industry, he has accumulated a wealth of technical knowledge and commercial experience, delivering a diverse range of projects for private and public-sector clients.  Alex's experience is allied to his personable nature and open communication style. 

When not piloting the Yellow Sub, Alex can often be found out in the water or the wilds seeking out what he lovingly describes as 'near life experiences'. Typically these involve some sort of high-speed interaction with nature and the elements.

Alex's technical specialisms include; brownfield regeneration; contaminated land investigation and assessment; remediation design and implementation; regulatory liaison and negotiation and project management.  Alex has a strong practical background founded in hands-on site investigation, and has extensive experience in designing and implementing works for both geotechnical and environmental purposes. He has won awards, and has built and run award-winning geo-environmental consultancy teams operating nationally.
